When your concrete is in good condition, very few options can look better and outperform polished concrete. When considering polished concrete, there are two important factors (aggregate exposure and gloss level). The price is primarily based on these factors and is calculated by adding them together.
Aggregate Exposure Level
(Rocks and Stones in the Concrete)
Minimal exposure, concrete appears a sandy grey color.
Slight Exposure, small pebbles, and stones are visible in concrete.
Full Exposure, large stones, and pebbles visible in concrete.
Gloss Level
(Top Layer Shine)
Densified and polished with three passes to remove large scratches.
Densified and polished with five passes to remove fine scratches.
Densified and polished with eight passes to create a hard glossy finish.
